KLT6 1-2pm JET Programme – Teaching English in Japan
Dr Anthony Manning, Dean for Internationalisation at the University of Kent, talks about his experience on the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) programme.
JET is an official Japanese Government scheme aimed at improving foreign language teaching in schools and promoting international understanding. www.jet-uk.org

This event encompasses coaching, work experience and the skills gained can be taken forward into your future career.

Thursday 20 October KLT5 12:30-1pm Bitesize talk: Identify your skills 
Learn how to identify the skills you have that an employer will want, plus any gaps in your skills you may need to fill.

Thursday 20 October, KLT5, 1-2pm Applying for Teacher Training 
The Director of Postgraduate Admissions at Canterbury Christ Church University will talk about applications for PGCE courses and what teacher training institutions look for when selecting students.
