This week of events will give you the chance to focus on your mind, body and academic skills. Feel free to come to one or all of the events. All are catered for and free to attend at both Medway and Canterbury Campus.

LSSJ Employability and Placements Manager, Emma Kember, will walk you through the key skills that you will need to ace interviews for your career or PhD study. She will be joined by an alumni panel who will be able to answer your questions about the next steps in your career.
This two hour session will give you the opportunity to learn what it takes to be a good writer. Student learning advisory service staff members will be there to look over any drafts and examples to give you tailored advice. You will also be given the chance to write with support and snacks!

12:00- 14:00 Looking after your Mental Health, Mental Health Consultant
NHS Consultants and Mental Health Nurses will be joining us for this session on how to look after your mental health. A short presentation will be followed by the opportunity to have a 121 meeting with a mental health nurse to get advice, guidance and support. Please note that you are welcome to just attend the presentation.
This free Zumba Class will give you the chance to get your body working and have fun whilst doing it! Silvina Fairbrass offers local classes which offer a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.
