Which modules have you enjoyed the most, and why?
I enjoyed the Law of Tort the most. I really enjoy medical negligence and would like to practice as a Medical Negligence/Personal injury Barrister in the UK.
The law of tort is an interesting area of law for several reasons. Here are a few reasons why someone might find the law of tort interesting:
The law of tort is concerned with civil wrongs and the harm caused by one person’s actions to another person or their property. As such, it deals with real-life scenarios that people can relate to, such as personal injury, property damage, and defamation. The law of tort covers a broad range of topics, including negligence, intentional torts, strict liability, and vicarious liability. This provides a wide scope for study and research. The law of tort involves complex legal principles and concepts, such as duty of care, breach of duty, causation, and contributory negligence. This provides a challenging and intellectually stimulating area of study. The tort law has practical implications for individuals, businesses, and society. For example, it provides a means for individuals to seek compensation for harm caused by others, and it sets standards of conduct for businesses and organizations. The law of tort is constantly evolving as new cases and issues arise. This means that there is always something new to learn and research in this field.
Overall, the law of tort is an interesting area of law because it deals with real-life scenarios, covers a broad range of topics, involves complex legal principles, has practical implications, and is constantly evolving.
