Vice-Chancellor’s Cup Highlights: Board Games

The VC Cup took a playful turn this month with two fantastic Board Games sessions that brought out the competitive spirit, quick thinking, and lots of laughter across our University teams!

Session One kicked off on Thursday with a brilliant lineup of games including Hues and Cues, Herd Mentality, Battleships, and P for Pizza. The energy was high and the strategies fierce—but it was RISistence is Futile who took the spotlight, storming ahead with an impressive 38 points in Hues and Cues, helping them land a strong 60-point finish overall for the day.

Not to be outdone, Session Two followed the next Tuesday with another exciting mix: Dobble, Trivial Pursuit, Articulate, and the ever-popular Klask. Infomaniacs proved themselves as quick thinkers and smooth communicators, dominating the session with a powerful 40-point win in Klask!

After tallying up the scores across both sessions, here are your final standings:

1st Place: Infomaniacs

2nd Place: Marlowe’s Marauders

3rd Place: Flu Fighters

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, rolled the dice, and made both sessions such a success. Your enthusiasm and team spirit made this one of the most popular VC Cup events yet.
