VC Cup Quiz

The 2025–26 Vice-Chancellor’s Cup came to a close with a fun and sociable evening at Woody’s, bringing teams together one final time to celebrate the competition and enjoy some friendly rivalry. With the bar open for food and drinks, it was a great opportunity for staff to relax, socialise with colleagues and reflect on the many events and activities from throughout the year.

The evening’s main event was a six-round quiz, putting teams’ knowledge to the test across a wide range of topics. The quiz began with a 2026 round, followed by a General Knowledge round, before moving on to a Sports round.

The Music round took everyone on a trip down memory lane, featuring some familiar favourites from the 1990s and noughties. Teams were challenged to identify songs and artists, with plenty of nostalgic moments along the way.

The Picture round provided a more visual challenge, with teams asked to identify a selection of flags, TV shows, films and even train stations!

The final round was dedicated to the VC’s Cup, testing teams’ knowledge of the competition, its events and activities throughout the year. It was a fitting way to bring the competition to a close and see which teams had been paying attention throughout the year.

Congratulations to the winners!

After six rounds of questions, Last Ones Standing came out on top and were crowned the winners of the 2026 VC’s Cup Quiz. Congratulations to the team on a fantastic performance!

U Bunch o Kents put in another strong performance to finish in second place, having won the quiz for the previous two years. They narrowly missed out on making it three consecutive victories.
