2022 to 2023 membership options and prices

Please make sure you review the following prices and details thoroughly before purchasing your membership. If you have any questions, please contact memberships@kent.ac.uk or visit the Sports Centre and The Pavilion receptions.

Kent Sport membership is for the sports, fitness and recreation facilities at the University of Kent Canterbury campus only.

All prices below are our standard prices and do not include any discount through promotions.

Student annual membership 2023/24

How to buy: Join online from 1 September 2023. For use until 31 August 2024.

Pro-rata payments

Student membership runs from 1 September to 31 August the following year. The annual cost of student membership is based on the time of year (pro-rata). Pro-rata payments are not available on the monthly payment option.

Free student membership

Each academic year, the University of Kent gives free student membership to its:

  • Undergraduate and postgraduate students living on the Canterbury campus in University of Kent accommodation
  • First year undergraduate students studying at the Canterbury campus
    (including those living on the Medway Campus)

Prices are valid until 31 August 2024. University of Kent Staff can purchase a leisure pass for use at the Medway Park Leisure Centre. *Children (up to 18 years old) must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Only children 16 to 18 years old can access the gym.

 


 

Public Junior (16 to 17 year olds) and Over 55s annual membership 2023/24

Prices are valid until 31 August 2024. Junior members must be aged 16 to 17, unless in full-time education. Under 16s who are accompanied by an adult can enjoy the facilities for £4 per activity and without an annual membership fee.

Prices are valid until 31 August 2024. If you are a local business and wish to discuss the possibility of corporate membership for your employees please contact us. We offer corporate membership to NHS employees. Full details are available on the NHS employee’s website or contact us. *Children (up to 18 years old) must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Only children 16 to 18 years old can access the gym.
