After 56 matches, 330 goals scored and plenty of memorable matches, the 2024/25 Inter College Football League has come to an end.
Turing cruised to win the league title by eight points, recording 13 wins and a draw in a brilliant undefeated season. In the final game week, Eliot and Park Wood FC battled for the runners up spot, with a dramatic 4-4 draw securing second for Eliot. Rutherford and Darwin enjoyed solid seasons, finishing in midtable, while Keynes Athletic, Park Wood United, and Woolf put up a good fight but ultimately found themselves towards the bottom of the standings.
While the season delivered many entertaining matches and strong team performances, a few standout individuals topped the statistical charts. Moussa Traore finished top of the goalscoring charts with 20 goals for Eliot, with Turing’s Findlay Potter in second with 13. Meanwhile, Turing’s Bradley Smith claimed the most assists in the league with 9.
Attention now turns to the ICFL Cup final, taking place on the 21st of May at 6pm. The league will return for the 2025/26 in the new academic year, so stay tuned for updates.
