Tickets are now available for a charity gala evening of African music and performance art, with singing from Black Voices and dance, limbo and fire-eating from the Bantu African Acrobatic Group, which will be at the Gulbenkian on Saturday 14 February at 7.30pm.
Black Voices are the UK’s leading female a cappella quintet. Established in 1988, they have developed their own unique brand with an ever growing repertoire that includes Gospel, spirituals, traditional African and Caribbean pop, as well as jazz and their own creative fusions.
The Bantu African Acrobatic Group formed in Kenya in 1990 and provide authentic, energised performance wearing colourful African costumes. A superb evening of entertainment!
All ticket sales to this wonderful event, supported by the University of Kent Sport, go directly into projects funded by Seeds for Africa, and will help raise awareness of the work of Seeds for Africa. Tickets can be booked online or by calling the Gulbenkian on 01227 769075.
