The event is aimed at bringing a fantastic KBS alumni community together for an evening to remember. Many KBS lecturers will be in attendance to catch up with former students.
Taking place from 6.30pm to 8pm, the evening includes complimentary drinks and nibbles.

We are delighted to confirm that award-winning social campaigner KBS Alum Dr Kush Kanodia will now give a keynote speech on the night, appearing alongside a panel of alumni from the Business School.
The former merchant banker turned social entrepreneur and the brains behind the #nowheelchairtax campaign will present on life during, before and after university with an overriding theme of Purpose over Profit and the importance of social responsibility in business.

Tom Hyner MBA, Director of Procurement and Commercial Services
Tom completed his MBA at Kent Business School in 2014, and has recently joined the Houses of Parliament as Director of Procurement and Commercial Services. He is also a member of the Kent Business School’s MBA Advisory Board, bringing not only specialist skills and knowledge but also dynamism and a genuine passion to assist the School to further benefit MBA students’ learning and development.
Stephanie Harris, B&M
Stephanie Harris studied BSc Management Science at Kent Business School followed by an MSc in Management. She used her expertise within the construction sector, where she now works as a Business Manager for b&m, a Construction Consultancy. The firm has worked on many largescale projects including the Sibson Building and Templeman Library on campus. Steph is an advocate for women entering the world of construction.
Sapna Tiwari, Inlecom Group
Sapna studied MSc Project Management from 2021 to 2022. She has started a role at Inlecom Group as a Project Coordinator, this year.
Professor Marian Garcia, Dean of Kent Business School
Professor Marian Garcia is a Professor of Marketing and Innovation and Dean of Kent Business School, University of Kent.
Marian is also Director of Kent Business School Open Innovation Network and has worked with businesses and public sector on customer-driven business model innovation. She is internationally known for her research on open innovation management and product development by businesses working
Zaid Mahmood, Kent Union President
Zaid studied Business and Management with Data Analytics, graduating in 2021. He took on many extracurricular roles during his time as a student, including President of the Business Society and Podcast host at KBS as well as student ambassador. After graduation, he was made President of Kent Union where he continues to work.
Fabian Akaeze, Turner and Townsend
The former sales and training specialist studied MSc Project Management course, graduating in 2021 and now works as Assistant Project Manager at Turner and Townsend.
