“For International Women’s Day 2024 and beyond, let’s Inspire Inclusion. When we inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion, we forge a better world. And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there’s a sense of belonging, relevance and empowerment. The aim of the IWD 2024 #InspireInclusion campaign is to collectively forge a more inclusive world for women.”
Join us as we discuss this hotly debated subject with our esteemed guest speakers, the first being MBA alum, Morenike Ajayi MBE, BSc, MBA, FCPFA, and Prince 2, who today is the Director of Corporate Services at Gravesend Churches Housing Association and Founder of Career Nuggets.
Before this, Morenike held the position of Commercial and Finance Director at the London Pensions Fund Authority, overseeing a £6 billion pension fund. In addition, she has taken on key roles at PwC, Transport for London and various housing associations and local authorities.
In the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List 2022, Morenike was awarded an MBE for her services to race equality and inclusion. As founder and CEO of social enterprise Career Nuggets, Morenike has helped further career opportunities for the Black Minority Ethnic (BME) community by providing mentoring, networking, workshops, events and more – all on a voluntary basis.
She is also the Treasurer and a trustee at London Youth, having served on the Board of Trustees for the National Union of Students (UK) and Hopscotch Asian Women’s Centre before that.
A multiple award winner, Morenike wears several hats: a chartered accountant, executive producer, TV presenter, author, career mentor and motivational public speaker.
