Kent Business School Dean’s Sustainable Futures Competition

How does your work (e.g., academic work, hobby, volunteering) help to make a contribution to Sustainable Futures through its link to the Sustainable Development Goals?

Kent Business School is proud of the ambition shown by our students and alumni, which makes a difference to the world we live in! As a school committed to Sustainable Futures we want to shout about what you do that makes a difference. To celebrate your ambition and desire to make a change we are launching the Kent Business School Dean’s Sustainable Futures Competition with some great prizes on offer!

  • The KBS Dean’s Postgraduate (including Postgraduate Research) Sustainable Futures Prize | Winner £250 | Runner up £100

  • The KBS Dean’s Alumni Sustainable Futures Prize | Winner £250 | Runner up £100

How to Enter

To enter, you will need to create a short supporting statement (max. 500 words) accompanied by a short video clip (max. one-minute) and to submit following the instructions below:

  • Supporting statement: The supporting statement should clearly outline the activity you are undertaking and how it makes a contribution to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). It should also outline the outcomes it has had (with any relevant evidence), your future plans and how you will use the prize money if you win the award.
  • Video clip: The video clip should be developed to enhance your supporting statement but should be a maximum of one minute. This can be as simple as a video of yourself explaining the above, a recorded PowerPoint presentation or something more sophisticated if you have the skills!
  • By entering this competition you consent to having your entry published on our website and shared on social media.
  • Competition closes at 5pm on Tuesday 2 May 2023
