The Centre for English and World Languages will be delivering 6 and 10 Week Pre-sessional courses in Medway for students wishing to progress to degree programmes delivered in Medway.
Pre-sessional courses are specially designed to prepare international students for study at the University of Kent before you start your degree. They focus on developing your English language and study skills so which course you take depends on your current level of English and the level required for your chosen degree.
Not only do the courses offer you the opportunity to develop your academic reading, writing and critical thinking, but they are also a chance to meet other students through a variety of social events. Additionally, as a student on a pre-sessional course, you will have access to all the leisure, support and study facilities on campus.
The pre-sessional courses in Medway will be available for the following KBS programmes
Further benefits to pre-sessional courses include:
- giving you time to settle into life in the UK, your city and campus
- introducing you to the University learning style and academic culture
- helping to improve your grammar and develop further vocabulary.
More information about pre-sessional courses and how to apply can be found on the Centre for English and World Languages’ website
