Article by Dr Timothy King features in Corporate Board Member Magazine

Dr King’s article ‘The Many Questions of Tying ESG to Executive Compensation’ appeared as part of the magazine’s quarterly publication.

The article discusses how increasingly companies are feeling the pressure to strengthen their commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibly (CSR) goals. Dr King observes that this strengthening commitment is being driven by increased pressure from diverse stakeholder groups such as special interest groups, regulators, employees and the general public. This in turn means companies are beginning to take active steps to link executive pay to ESG and CSR targets and the article reviews the considerations and issues boards and other stakeholders need to take into account when they begin to implement these changes.
