CILT Talk: Brexit – Feast or Famine – Managing Risk in your Supply Chain

Join us for the first CILT talk of the academic year at Kent Business School. The event is open to all.

Speaker: Brian Szukala MBA, BSc(Hons) FCILT, Managing Director, Transfer Knowledge Partners

Brian has over 20 years experience in Transport, Logistics and Supply Chain management. He previously worked for two of the worlds’ largest pharmaceutical companies (Pfizer and Abbott Laboratories) and was General Manager, Training Operations, for the Freight Transport Association where he also worked on some key policy issues with UK government and other member state organisations in the EU, such as the implementation of the Driver CPC, Working Time Directive and Digital Tachographs.

In addition to providing training and consultancy services to industry he has worked on a variety of diverse projects, for example; managing risk in the medical supply chain for UNICEF across Africa, developing a driver CPC curriculum for Abu Dhabi drivers, developing an Irish Government Logistics Strategy and recently the creation of a management development programme for the International Road Transport Union(IRU), to be offered to transport managers globally.

The various experience gained from all the above will be used to present an enlightening and topical presentation on the risks, challenges and potential benefits offered by Brexit.
