Kent Business School BSc Marketing students were given the opportunity to pitch to global brand SONY UK.

Responding to a marketing research and solutions challenge provided by the company, student groups pitched to Arnaud Gutleben, Head of Image Marketing, and his team members from SONY UK. Arnaud commented: ‘The Pitch It! presentations have been extremely useful to us, both in the high level of research undertaken by Kent Business School students and the recommendations presented. It has certainly given us some practical and creative ideas to consider. A great way of bringing business and student talent together.’

Jacquelynn Coughlin, second-year Marketing with a Year in Industry student, said: ‘The market research is a really engaging element of the Pitch It! scheme and it was great to see that some of our ideas might be considered by SONY. A great reason to be at Kent Business School and I would certainly recommend it to other students.’

George Kennedy, second-year Marketing with a Year in Industry student, said: ‘It was a fantastic opportunity to work directly with professionals and to get the chance to pitch to a company like SONY – wow!’
