Professor Andrew Fearne and Dr Shaomin Wu from Kent Business School are key participants in the recently launched ESRC Business and Local Government Data Research Centre.
The new Centre is a collaboration between the Universities of Essex, Kent, and East Anglia (Eastern ARC) and the London School of Economics. The Centre joins a wider collaborative network of specialist university research centres for Smart Data and is part of phase II of the ESRC’s Big Data Network.
The Big Data team will provide analyses of smart data to benefit society and empower business.
