Kent Business School is pleased to welcome Prof. Alberto Garcia Villoria from Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya as part of the Visiting Academic programme. Prof. Alberto Garcia Villoria will work with Prof. Said Salhi from June to August 2012 on the development of approximate procedures for solving the Response Time Variability Problem (RTVP) where the measure between two successive symbols is dependent on the type of symbols and their relationships. Prof. Garcia Villoria and Prof. Salhi will focus on the design efficient hybrid heuristics with exact methods to study this dynamic time variability problem which has not been investigated in the literature.
