Welcome to the first Funny Rabbit blog!
Hello! My name is Alf White and I’m a comedian/performance artist/general cool dude from right here at UKC. A year ago, I was one of the first two student guest acts to perform at Funny Rabbit and since then my burgeoning stand-up career has taken me to places as widespread and diverse as two further Funny Rabbit guest spots and Blean. In all seriousness, I’m very excited to be back and do please keep asking me to do it, Olly.
At this point, some of you may be thinking: ‘But Alf I’ve seen you at Funny Rabbit before and frankly, I’m amazed that you’ve chosen to spend your Valentine’s day with us, the lovely Funny Rabbit audience, instead of taking advantage of one of presumably many, many offers of company on this most romantic of evenings. I for one can’t wait to see your imaginative, surreal style which creatively incorporates musical comedy and props again, but I simply don’t understand why you’re here.’ And to that I say, none of your business.
Aha lol seriously tho lmao. Thank you very much to Funny Rabbit for having me on again. It’s always a fun show and it’s got a really lovely community feel about it. As a student comic it’s always nice to gig with those who are a little bit further down the line and ask lots of questions, etc. If you enjoy my set tonight, then you can come to the Chortle Student Award heats at Goldsmiths University of London on March 12th and laugh at me and no-one else, because that is what comedy is all about.
