The Gulbenkian needs your help to organise mini 10 minute dance parties in their bOing! shipping/party container. They also have a call out for hip hop dancers join the City Sessions – with prizes to be won!

10 Minute Dance Parties

JOF has toured all over the world, and his 10 Minute Dance Parties takes place inside a shipping container. The Gulbenkian are looking for young people aged 10-19 to collaborate with JOF as DJs, lighting/sounds technicians, dance artists, party people, and music enthusiasts to make 10 Munute Dance Partes at bOing! 2018 as incredible as possible! It is free to be a part of 10 Minute Dance Parties – attend workshop sessions on Thursday 23 August 11.30am-3.30pm, and on Friday 24 August 11.30am-1.00pm. You will also need to be available for at least one day of bOing!  on Sat 25 and Sun 26 August.

City Sessions

Efren Pamilacan, a talented hip-hop choreographer all the way from Australia, is bringing the dance battles of the Melbourne art scene to bOing! Festival. He is looking for hip-hop dancers to battle him, so don’t miss out on this chance to test your skills!

City Sessions will be at bOing! International Family Festival at the University of Kent campus on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 August, and you can check times of the battle on the Gulbenkian website.

Efren Pamilacan Jr. will also be bringing his dance battles to Canterbury City Centre on Friday 24 August, so challenge him there too!
