Studio 3 Gallery installation: ‘Zones of Flow (iv)’

Rocio von Jungenfeld

Dr Rocio Von Jungenfield, media researcher and Lecturer in Digital Media in the School of Engineering and Digital Arts at the University of Kent, is using the School of Art‘s Studio 3 Gallery as the venue for a new digital media and design project. Rocio’s installation, entitled ‘Zones of Flow (iv)’, will culminate in a public viewing on Monday 16 September, from 12pm to 4pm in the gallery.

‘Zones of flow (iv)’ is an audiovisual installation conceived as part of a series of experiments that investigate the fluid and changing connections between people, sea and land. The artwork aims to translate the experience of trying to sleep while sailing, with the body lying in a semi-horizontal position.

All are invited to attend the public viewing and to meet with Rocio. The event is free to attend and no booking is required. Please note that the installation requires participants to sit on the floor.
