Individual e-book titles can be accessed via LibrarySearch Digital; to filter your search use the Ebooks filter on the left.
Following a successful trial, the library now has access to Bloomsbury Architecture Library. This resource has a wide selection of works on architecture and related disciplines including urbanism, landscape and interiors. It also includes access to the new edition of Sir Banister Fletcher’s Global History of Architecture.
Log In guidance for Bloomsbury Architecture Library
If asked to log in to access content
- Click the ‘Log in’ link or select the log in link at the top of the page
- On the Log In page, click on the ‘Shibboleth Login page’ link (do not enter your username and password or your library card number)
- Scroll down the list to find University of Kent or type University of Kent into the search box
- Select the University of Kent link. Once you have logged in, you should see “Access Provided by University of Kent” at the top of the page.
Ebook collections
We also have a collection of over 400 ebooks available to read online and download through the database called Construction Information Service (CIS). The two main publishers included in this database are Routledge and RIBA. To access CIS, go to the ‘Online resources’ link which you can find at the top of the homepage. Once logged in, you can use the search box to look for an individual title or use ‘Browse’ (by Publisher) on the left of the page.
