Giovanni Sordi was visiting on 4 December. He gave the School Colloquium, presenting the Widom line scenario for the pseudogap in cuprate high-temperature superconductors. I have remained interested in this since I heard Andre-Marie Tremblay’s talk at last summer’s CMPCity. Giovanni’s was, predictably, a really interesting talk. Sam and I had really good discussions with him about it before and after.
