Francisco Guinea will be visiting us and giving the Physical Sciences Colloquium tomorrow. Paco is a highly-cited condensed matter theorist. He has made many important contributions and is particularly credited for playing a crucial role -alongside fellow theorist Antonio Castro-Neto- in the emergence of graphene -as aknowledged in Andre Geim’s Nobel lecture.
