Bakerwell is a leading ecological consultancy in the South East. They are offering a paid, 10 week internship for a Kent student who is studying an ecology, conservation or environmental degree.
Dates are to be confirmed, but the internship will take place between June and September.

Opportunity details: The chance to undertake ecological surveys, report writing and plan production (using QGIS) focused on Kent-based wildlife, including various protected species.
Company profile: Bakerwell provide ecological surveys on local wildlife in Kent and Sussex.
Location: Office work to be undertaken in either Ashford or Folkestone, and field work throughout Kent.
Date(s): Dates to be confirmed between student and sponsor. Work to be undertaken between June – September 2018. The internship is for 10 weeks.
Additional criteria: The student must be studying an ecology, conservation or environmental degree. Some surveys will be undertaken outside or normal working hours. For this reason, access to a car would be beneficial, but if needed, car sharing will be possible. Relevant legislation and GIS experience would be beneficial but if needed, training will be provided. For field work only, travel will be reimbursed (0.45p per mile).
