We are pleased to announce further details and sign up for the Cathedral Stained Glass Study Day on Tuesday 10th November in collaboration with Canterbury Cathedral and CAMEMS.
Lost and Found: Hidden Histories of Canterbury’s Stained Glass
Tuesday 10th November 2026 – Canterbury Cathedral Lodge
10:30-17:00
Over the centuries, Canterbury Cathedral’s stained glass has been damaged through acts of vandalism, iconoclasm and the destructive forces of war, and also through neglect and even theft. Complementing the exhibition currently in our Viewing Gallery, this study day will combine visits to the Stained Glass Studio and the Archives reading room with talks from leading experts in their field. Speakers include Professor Paul Binski (University of Cambridge), Professor Rachel Koopmans (University of York, Toronto) and Leonie Seliger (Director of the Stained Glass Studio).
This event is free for MEMS students – **please sign up here**.
General admission: £95 – please book through the cathedral here
Non-MEMS Student admission: £45
