MEMS welcomes applications from eminent senior professors from overseas via the Leverhulme Trust Visiting Professorships, to bring genuinely novel expertise and enhance the skills and knowledge of academic staff and students in an underrepresented area in the UK. Priority will be given to new or recent collaborations and visits with a variety of activities beyond research.
Applications are invited for a minimum of £10,000 and a maximum of £150,000.
Duration
A Visiting Professorship may last for between 3 and 12 months, and tenures of 6 months or more can be spread over 2 or more visits.
Before beginning your application, please visit the Leverhulme Trust Visiting Professorships webpage for detailed information and deadlines
Initial expressions of interest and questions about the application process can be directed to Dr Suzanna Ivanic (s.ivanic@kent.ac.uk) in the first instance. The Leverhulme Trust runs this scheme twice per year (generally May and October), see their website for deadlines, but MEMS accepts approaches at any time.
