Happiness In Daily Life
We were very pleased to welcome Ajahn Amaro, Abbot of Amaravati Buddhist Monastery, to the University on 23 October 2017.
Introduced by Professor David Wilkinson, Ajahn Amaro spoke entirely without notes for about an hour on the subject of “Happiness in everyday life”, before leading a Question and Answer session. A variety of provocative and probing questions were raised by members of the audience of approximately 100. Our grateful thanks to Ajahn Amaro, to Professor Wilkinson, and to everyone else who helped to organise the event.
Ajahn Jayasaro, gives an introduction to Buddhist meditation.
