Students interested in exploring their postgraduate options at Kent Law School have a choice of three open events taking place across Canterbury, Brussels and Paris in November.
A Postgraduate Open Day will be held on our Canterbury campus on Saturday 29 November from 10am – 2pm. This event offers an excellent opportunity for students to speak to specialist academics and admissions staff about Kent Law School’s innovative Masters in Law programme, the Kent LLM.
The Kent LLM, enables students to broaden and deepen their knowledge and understanding of law by specialising in one or more different areas, according to their career interests and aspirations, even if they are a non-law graduate.
Kent LLM students have the certainty of gaining an LLM in a specialist area of Law whilst also having the freedom to leave their choice of specialism open until after they arrive. Specialisms include:
- Criminal Justice
- Environmental Law and Policy
- International Environmental Law
- European Law
- International Commercial Law
- International Criminal Justice
- International Law with International Relations
- Medical Law and Ethics
- International Law
- Human Rights Law
The Postgraduate Open Day also offers students a chance to find out about Kent’s £8m postgraduate scholarship fund, our competitive fees and the Global Skills and Researcher Development programmes that help enhance your career prospects.
Two further events are being held at Kent’s centres in Paris and Brussels. A general Open Evening at the University of Kent’s Brussels School of International Studies on Wednesday 19 November offers an opportunity to learn more about the international study programmes on offer, including LLM courses in International Law with International Relations, Public International Law and International Economic Law. An Open Evening at Kent’s Paris centre will take place on Thursday 20 November. At both events, staff will be available who can discuss the full range of undergraduate and postgraduate opportunities at the University of Kent at all its locations in the UK and Europe.
