Law School Administration Manager cycling from Paris to Canterbury!

Kent Law School Administration Manager Dr Jill Holliday is one of 14 cyclists who will begin the University of Kent’s four-day Paris to Canterbury Goldstein Bike Ride tomorrow.

Dr Holliday and the team will set off from Paris at 9am on Wednesday, aiming to arrive back on Kent’s Canterbury campus in time for the 50th Festival weekend celebrations on Saturday 5 September. They aim to end their journey at the Jarman Plaza at approximately 2pm.

As part of the project, a group of Kent computing students have created a special webpage where you can track the route of the cyclists and monitor their bike speed and heart rates in real time.

You can also follow the team on Twitter @paris2unikent

The Goldstein Cycle Ride is held annually at Kent in honour of Professor Laurence Goldstein (former Head of School for European Culture and Languages).

Dr Holliday joined Kent Law School as School Administration Manager (SAM) earlier this year after previously working as a SAM at the University’s School of Biosciences.
