Kent Law School ranked 14th in the Guardian University Guide

Kent has been ranked an impressive 14th in the Guardian University Guide 2015 league table for Law. The Guardian Guide is one of the most trusted and influential resources for students looking to study at university in the UK, and its subject league table for law ranks all 97 law schools at universities throughout the UK.

Within the ranking, Kent Law School placed 13th nationally for the career prospects of graduates, and 3rd nationally for the ratio of staff to students.

The final university league table published this academic year, the Law School’s ranking of 14th in the Guardian guide means that it features prominently and within the top 20 in all of the most recent UK university league tables. It is also one of only 11 English law schools to rank in the top 20 in each major league table.

Kent is ranked 10th nationally for Law in The Times Good University Guide and 18th in the Complete University Guide. Kent was also ranked as the 6th best law school in the UK in the most recent Research Assessment Exercise (4th by the quality of research considered ‘world class’ or ‘internationally excellent’), and achieved outstanding results in the 2013 National Student Survey (NSS), with the Law School placed in the top ten in a number of individual NSS categories, and 15th nationally for overall student satisfaction.

As a whole, the University of Kent ranked an impressive 20th overall in the Guardian University Guide 2015 (out of a total of 116 universities), with 10 subject areas ranked in the top 10 nationally, and an additional 11 subject areas ranked in the top 20 nationally.
