Kent Law School in Aix-en-Provence

On 13 September 2024, Aix-Marseille University (AMU) convened a reception to welcome the new cohort of students enrolled in the ‘2+2’ programme offered in co-operation with Kent Law School, University of Kent. The Dean of the Faculty of Law, the Vice President of the University for International Affairs, parents, and students were in attendance. Dr Simone Glanert spoke on behalf of Kent Law School.

Pursuant to this highly successful programme established in 2017, a select number of students spend the first two years of their law studies at AMU in Aix-en-Provence and the last two years of their law studies at Kent Law School in Canterbury. Upon successful completion of their four-year programme of law studies, students obtain both French (Master 1 ‘Droit international et européen’) and English (LLB) law degrees leading to the practice of law in France, in the UK or elsewhere on the European or international scene.
