Professor Harm Schepel of Kent’s Brussels School of International Studies appeared on BBC Newsnight’s ‘Life After Brexit’ special on Saturday 25 June, following the UK referendum on membership of the EU.
Contributing to a special programme which examined the implications of the referendum result, Professor Schepel outlined the scope and operation of Article 50 of the European Union’s Lisbon Treaty.
Professor Harm Schepel is a founding contributor to the University of Kent’s Brussels School of International Studies, and is Director of Law Programmes at the Centre (which offers an LLM in Human Rights Law and an LLM in International Law). His research focuses on the legal institutionalization of capitalism on different levels of governance, including such fields as international trade and investment law, law and development, corporate governance, the law of the European internal market, comparative and European competition law, and the regulation of private governance regimes.
