New book published – Combating Deforestation: The Evolving Legal Framework of the EU on Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade

The latest book by Dr Martin Hedemann-Robinson, Senior Lecturer in Law at Kent Law School, has been published by E-Elgar Publishing.

‘Combating Deforestation: The Evolving Legal Framework of the EU on Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade’ appraises the development of the European Union’s law and policy over the last twenty or so years in seeking to ensure that its legislative and other policy measures are more effective in being able to address its complicity in the increase in global deforestation.

Dr Martin Hedemann-Robinson has previously published two books in the field of environmental law enforcement. He teaches across a number of undergraduate and postgraduate law modules at Kent Law School including European Union Law, International Environmental Law, International Trade and the Environment and Competition Law in Transnational Context. He is open to considering acting as supervisor to postgraduate research students in the fields of EU law, as well as international and European environmental law.
