In response to the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) situation and our new working arrangements, the Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD) team is continuing to suspend face-to-face delivery of its current training and development courses and workshops, at this stage up to and including those on Friday 29 May.
During this time, the L&OD team will continue to work on enhancing our online training options as well as ensuring that arrangements are put in place for rearranging postponed training and development activities. Wherever possible, our Session Leads may offer virtual options and/or resources we can point you towards in the absence of the face-to-face sessions.
Staff are not required to action anything at this stage: we will communicate directly with those affected.
We will continue to follow the University’s guidance, along with Government, NHS and Public Health England advice and provide regular updates as the situation develops.
Please continue to look after your own wellbeing and the wellbeing of those around you.

The majority of our L&OD activities are available to view and book via your personal Staff Connect dashboard.
In Academic year 2019/20, Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD) are taking a slightly different approach to planning our development offer which will allow us to better focus resources on the topics in demand by our workforce and be more flexible in offering timely development solutions.
This new approach includes the use of Waiting Lists for development opportunities, rather than always planning and listing a full calendar of available dates.
