L&OD are pleased to announce, that the pilot of the Unconscious Bias training, designed and delivered by the School of Psychology, has now completed and are able to offer the session out to all schools and departments.
We have a number of sessions available in July.
If you would like to take this training forward in your school or department, please contact: Learning and Development (ldev@kent.ac.uk) so that we can get a session booked for you.
Each session will take approximately 1.5 hrs and to work well, we would recommend a minimum attendance of 5 people and maximum of 12 (room dependent).
Prior to each session trainer, Dawn Nicholson will come and speak with you to understand the purpose and drive of the training and the outcomes you wish to achieve, to ensure the approach is tailored to meet your training need. It is also beneficial If the online training has been completed to provide an awareness of terminology.
A 3 month follow up meeting is also planned, to understand the impact of the training.
