Kent Sport tennis scholar Matt Brears and UKC Tennis Club committee member Keziah Buckley invite you to join them at the UV Halloween touchtennis event:
With there being such massive media buzz around tennis in the news at the moment, Kent Sport have teamed up with the University of Kent Tennis Society to bring a new event to the Canterbury campus. This Saturday 29 October, at the University Indoor Tennis Centre, there will be an exciting UV touchtennis event!
Touchtennis is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK, with other countries quickly jumping on board. Played with mini rackets and sponge balls, the sport is incredibly easy to pick up and play and great fun for any player of any level. Touchtennis also has its own tour with ranking points and prize money up for grabs, offering a (not so) serious side to the sport!
The event is not just about tennis though, and will include great music, the odd dab here and there, and various other games that everyone can get involved with. The event will start at 7pm and will run through until 9pm. The whole university is invited and it is a fantastic opportunity to get out, meet new people and have plenty of fun! So throw your brightest clothes and come on down the UV touchtennis event on Saturday night!
More information can be found on the University of Kent Tennis Facebook page where you will find the UV Halloween touchtennis event.
