Throughout the academic year, ResLife, in conjunction with Kent Sport, has been organising an inter-accommodation sports competition in which each of our accommodations competes in various sporting events. The teams have participated in Netball, Volleyball, Dodgeball, Archery, Pickleball, and Beatsabre, with the competition culminating in a fun general knowledge quiz.
There has been fierce competition and lots of fun, with students trying out new sports for the first time and enjoying representing their accommodation. The joint winners of this year’s ResCup Sports Cup shield were Parkwood and Woolf.
Next year, we plan to make the ResCup even bigger, with more sports and activities to ensure that there is something for everyone. Our aim is to get as many students as possible active and engaged in sport and exercise.
