Inclusive Tennis programme launch

The pilot for our new Inclusive Tennis programme has recently launched at the Kent Indoor Tennis and Events Arena. These new sessions provide disability specific tennis coaching including adaptations for wheelchair users and anyone with learning disabilities or visual and hearing impairments, and will also expand into other long-term health conditions such as mental health conditions and dementia.

The free sessions will run from 10am to 12pm every Thursday in October 2024. Our Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) trained coaches will lead you through a tennis session in our Indoor Tennis Centre. We have 2 brand new sports wheelchairs and very much look forward to welcoming you to this tennis group!

You can book a space for the Inclusive Tennis sessions through your online account. When booking, select the day you are looking for first, then under “What do you want to do?” select ‘Tennis’.

I just wanted to say I absolutely loved today’s session, it was by far my favourite session ever! It was super intense in the best way possible and I really felt like I learnt a lot and was pushing myself lots. I thought Nick was brilliant and loved the way he taught by doing it, like getting into a chair himself and of course with how much he knows it was really great, and I’m really looking forward to the next sessions there!
