New ALL Active Staff sessions

Staff-only sessions in new locations

As part of our drive to bring Kent Sport to you on campus, we’re pleased to announce some exciting new additions to our popular ALL Active timetable. Staff can join new sessions at either The Shed (Cornwallis) or The Missing Link (Darwin).

Please note, that we have made the decision to reduce the available sessions to the following:

  • Pilates on Monday at 1.15pm – Pilates is a holistic class focussing on dancing and stretching. In this class, you’ll stretch your body to the rhythm of the music, and you’ll train your mind to feel relaxed and content.
  • Tai Chi on Friday at 12.15pm – Tai Chi is a holistic class based on ancient Chinese exercise regimes developed to help participants achieve health and vitality. A series of slow rhythmic movements, Tai Chi allows the body to work in harmony using the mind, breathing and balance.

We will review our current timetable for the Spring term and we are hoping to continue staff-only sessions in these locations.

How to book

These new sessions are open to all Kent staff members. Please check the event location when booking online. There are no changing rooms available at The Shed or The Missing Link, so please arrive ready to exercise. Toilets are located at the venue or near the venue. Please ask the Instructor for the nearest facilities.

You will need a minimum of Kent Sport Pay to Play membership to take part. If you’re not a member, you can create a free account and book online. ALL Active sessions are free for Premium Plus and Plus members.

 

Our ALL Active timetable

With more than 20 sessions each week from netball, to beginner lifting classes, and Couch to 5K, there’s something for every ability level.

Don’t forget to pick up a loyalty card and get a stamp for each session you attend. After 15 sessions you’ll get a free t-shirt, and after 30 you’ll join our prize draw to win £100 Kent One Card credit!
