Show off your choreography to win the chance to perform live on stage in Nottingham before the performance of OUT OF THE SHADOW on 18 November 2013.Nobulus, the Austrian company that took audiences by storm at Breakin’ Convention in 2007 and 2008 at London’s Sadler’s Wells, bring their awesome urban dance theatre show Out of the Shadow to the UK in October-November 2013. How To Enter The Competition Step 1: Create your one-minute film inspired by and filmed at your local iconic landmark. See NuProjeks winning entry to get you thinking, or watch Director Alexander Wengler taking you through his own moves from Out of the Shadow. Step 2: Film your dance and upload it to the Dance Your City Facebook page Step 3: Ask your friends and family to visit the Dance Your City Facebook page and vote for their favourite dance. Step 4: On FRIDAY 25 OCTOBER the 5 dances with the most votes will be announced. The finalists will have 3 weeks to prepare a 3 minute piece to take to the Live Final on SUNDAY 17 NOVEMBER in Nottingham to perform in front of a public audience and a panel of street dance experts. Step 5: The ultimate winner, chosen by the panel of experts, will perform live as the warm up for Nobulus’s Out of the Shadow on MONDAY 18 NOVEMBER at Nottingham Playhouse. Step 6: The winning crew will also receive a HD handheld camcorder. |
