Our next MBA Guest Lecture Series event is on entrepreneurship, this Zoom event on Friday 4 June 12:30- 14:00 will be the topic of ‘Lessons learnt from a Business Start-Up

Two successful entrepreneurs and  Alumni will join us to share ‘The lessons learnt from a business start-up’.

This interactive Zoom event on Friday 4 June, 12:30 – 14:00 will be led by our Kent MBA Entrepreneurship Scholar Kelvin Rugwiji, will welcome a global live audience, bringing together our community of MBA students, alumni and the wider community of business leaders.

You will also have the chance to submit questions to the panel during the Q&A and to network following the Q&A.

Tony Hunter, CPO & Co-founder, Attest

University of Kent Alumni, Tony started his career in investment banking technology at Morgan Stanley in London and New York. Tony then started his first business, Lighthouse, working in Ad Tech focused on bringing real-time location data to advertising. Tony co-founded Attest in 2015, and has grown the company from 2 people to 140, operating in two countries, and raising $35m.

Ben Bradford, Chief Executive, BB7

Ben is KBS Alumni and the proud founder of BB7, an outstanding fire and security consulting firm that advises Architects and design teams throughout the design and construction process, but also building owners and operators as they manage risk in the built environment.

After completing his MBA in 2007, he founded BB7, which has been trading for eleven years, employs 120+ people and has full national coverage throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland, with Engineers working on some fantastic projects worldwide. Now backed by BGF investment, it is a company of scale and a platform for further growth.
