University of Kent staff and students can now get a year’s free access to the physiotherapy app, Injurymap.
We all experience pain in our muscles and joints from time to time, be it in the back, knees or one of the many other areas that can lead to discomfort and impact your quality of life. Exercise is the medically proven path for treating muscle and joint pain.
Injurymap makes it easy to perform the most effective exercises, picked by medical specialists. The app provides a personalised training programme with each exercise adapted to your strengths and weaknesses, delivering you the safest and shortest path to recovery. Some of the exercises will require bands, which can be collected for free at the Kent Sport Physiotherapy Clinic in the Sports Centre.
Injurymap is made available to you through a collaboration between Kent Sport Physiotherapy Clinic, Kent Business School (KBS) and Injurymap. After creating your account, Injurymap will send you an invitation to join a research project administered by Professor Ben Lowe and Dr Des Laffey from KBS.
