KBS students to cycle from Canterbury to Amsterdam for Seeds for Africa

On Thursday, four KBS students will cycle from Canterbury to Amsterdam to raise money for Seeds for Africa. The University of Kent based charity, helps to give African families and communities a self-sufficient and sustainable future by the provision of seeds, equipment and technical advice.

The four KBS final-year students Kieran Shand, Steve Moore, Julian Picard and Ravi Raja will cycle more than 250 miles to Amsterdam to celebrate their final year of study. They will be accompanied by three other final-year students from University of Kent.

The cyclists are excited about the challenge ahead, as Kieran Shand shares:

“As a team we believe that we are raising money for a great charity. On a more personal note, I will soon be graduating and I am excited to celebrate my personal accomplishments and my friends’ achievements through this cycle.”
