On 6 May, Kent Business School’s Centre for Employment, Competitiveness and Growth will represent the School as thought-leaders on the subject of good governance in the 21st Century.
The event will be held at the Institute of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, 137 Euston Road, London at 12-2pm on Wednesday 6 May. Joined by an exclusive group of fellow senior executives from a wide-range of organisations including Brett Group and Imperial College Union, KBS’ Dr Simon Raby will discuss the central challenges we are experiencing in governing our organisations.
There will be round-table discussions on four themes as listed below:
- What are the central challenges we are experiencing in governing our organisations?
- How does the approach we take to govern our organisations differ, and what similarities/difference exist across sectors (Private, Public and Third)?
- What does a board need to function effectively?
- What are the key attributes of an effective chair/chief executive relationship?
