12 Ambitious owner-managers of regional small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) recently met with KBS to form a new network as part of the Business Improvement and Growth (BIG) initiative.
The BIG Network helps owner-managers overcome the challenges they experience in leading their businesses and implementing their strategic plans. All participants of the network have previously taken part in the BIG Journey executive development programme.
“It is great to be back together. We gained tremendously, both personally and in business terms, from the BIG Journey, and I’m excited to be working with other ambitious individuals seeking improvement and growth.”
Paul Carpenter, Director, Adaro Optics, and BIG Journey participant
The secret to the success of the BIG initiative is the translation of research into a practical toolkit, and the formation of a network of owner-managers working together on successful business solutions.
The network has identified six key themes of focus, relevant to an SME; Team-building, Finance, Value proposition, Strategic alliances, Innovation, and Pitching. Read the BIG blog for upcoming articles on these themes, as well as group formation.
The BIG Network would like to give thanks to Emma Lansdell and the Kent Environmental Innovation Network who kindly hosted this formation meeting.
