BSc Finance and Investment to Move to the Canterbury Campus in Sep 2023

Kent Business School’s teaching of the BSc Finance & Investment course will be moving to the Sibson Building on the Canterbury campus from September 2023.

The Canterbury campus is a base for a number of academics carrying out world-leading research in the field of Finance. It is hoped that their expertise will be utilised within the course to enhance optional modules for students later in their studies in areas key to employability including Finance with Excel and Business Analytics.

Our self-contained Canterbury campus provides a welcoming environment and a close-knit student community. Campus life revolves around six colleges, the Templeman Library, The Gulbenkian arts centre and the Mandela Building (home of Kent Union) – all set among green and tranquil open spaces.

Kent Business School sits within the recently built Sibson building which provides first-class resources, with plenty of spaces to study and relax. The city of Canterbury is a quick 5-minute bus ride or 20-minute walk where you can explore the city’s medieval buildings, historic pubs and an array of shops. London is also just an hour away by train.

Dr Sideeq Mohammed, Associate Dean of Education and Undergraduate Student Experience at Kent Business School says: “We’re confident that bringing together our expert teaching staff in Finance & Investment, alongside the award-winning facilities and supportive community already located at Canterbury will further enhance student’s skills, employability and experience.”

The location of the Finance and Investment degree will change from Medway to Canterbury from 2023 affecting any students studying the course during that period of time and current offer holders. Those who start the course in September 2022 will do their first year at Medway and the rest of the course at Canterbury.
