On Monday 10th September 2012, Dr Pamela Yeow welcomed 13 MBA students from University of Ingolstadt, Germany on a week-long executive education programme organised by Kent Business School.
This now well-established programme, offers students a great opportunity to immerse themselves in the study of contemporary intercultural management issues. The teaching team comprised of experts in the area of strategy, employee engagement, culture and international business. A visit to Shepherd Neame, Britain’s oldest brewery showed an organization working in a modern multicultural setting with partnerships with breweries across the globe. A wine evening brought together a network of members of staff and MBA students from Kent Business School, allowing informal networking to take place in the pleasant surroundings of an 18th century former wool store, now a splendid restaurant with alfresco dining.
Dr Pamela Yeow, Programme Director enthused that ‘Kent Business School has been welcoming students from this programme for the last seven years. We are confident of the academic content and delivery of this programme and over the years, we have been impressed with the quality of the students that come. We try to ensure that the students get the most out of the academic studies, but also have an enjoyable time in our lovely city.’
Kent Business School is a keen supporter of such international executive education programmes which support the School’s European development strategy. Furthermore, these programmes offer opportunities for the School’s own students to interact with visiting students in a friendly and relaxed environment, further promoting cultural exchange and awareness.
