Dr Tim King, Senior Lecturer in Finance, Banking and Innovation at Kent Business School has been featured in the Finder Business Banking Report.
Dr King was approached by the personal finance comparison site to contribute as one of five experts and the only academic to be asked to give his expertise.
The report, a high impact publication that reaches SMEs directly, serves to highlight trends and innovations in the sector as well as foresight into future trends that may impact the business banking and account sector.
Dr King says:
Innovation is dramatically transforming the banking sector with implications for the banking choices of SMEs. Many existing trends towards digitalisation of offerings have been accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic. Against this backdrop I was recently invited to contribute to an industry report by comparison website Finder, as one of a small select panel of experts, as the sole academic, alongside leaders from industry to share insights into the current business banking environment and to give predictions for the future. Given the intensity of disruptive change in the sector and the importance of providing products that effectively meet the evolving demands of businesses this report by Finder is timely and will be read widely.
