Invest competitively – Develop your finance skills by managing an investment portfolio through a 3-month simulation. Compete against students (and staff) and try to develop the most successful portfolio working with real market data.
As a KBS student you will be able to join our dynamic Trading Game and apply the skills you learn in your courses in a practical, engaging, and risk-free environment. This is your chance to experiment with trading strategies and develop a keen sense of market dynamics, all while having fun and competing with your peers.
Why Participate?
The Trading Game is designed to complement your academic learning with hands-on experience in trading and investments. Though it doesn’t contribute toward any module credits, the game offers a valuable, enjoyable extracurricular activity that enhances your financial acumen and prepares you for real-world investment scenarios.

All KBS students are encouraged to participate—no prior trading experience is required. Whether you’re a seasoned trader or a complete beginner, this game is for you.
Managed by Experts
Our dedicated Directors of Studies for the undergraduate and postgraduate Finance courses will handle the setup and daily management of the game, ensuring a smooth and enriching experience for all participants.
Game Overview
- Duration: 10 weeks
- Start Date: 3rd October 2024
- End Date: 5th December2024
- Initial Virtual Capital: $100,000
Each participant starts with $100,000 in virtual funds to invest as they see fit. You have complete freedom to choose your trading strategies and the frequency of your trades throughout the 10-week period.
