Four Kent Business School staff promoted to Senior Lecturer

We are delighted to announce that four Kent Business School staff members have been promoted to Senior Lecturer.

Those who received the step up this year are:

Dr Samantha Evans

Samantha is a Chartered Member of the CIPD, Chartered Management Institute and a member of the British Universities Industrial Relations Association. She is the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead for Kent Business School and lead the School’s successful application for a Bronze Athena Swan award in 2020. She was previously the Programme Director for the MSc HRM.

Samantha has published in a range of journals and was awarded Highly Commended Paper for Employee Relations: The International Journal in the Emerald Literati 2018 Awards for Excellence.

Duncan Finn

Duncan Finn joined Kent Business School in June 2012. He is a member of the Accounting and Finance Group. Prior to teaching, he gained significant experience across different sectors and industries as an accountant, financial controller and finance director.

Duncan has worked across sectors including construction, health, retail and banking. He currently works as an accounting and tax consultant in an accountancy practice.

Dr Epameinondas Katsikas

Dr Epameinondas Katsikas previously worked in the private and the public sector in business administration and the field of accounting.

He has worked as an accountant in the private sector, finance officer in the finance department of a Greek university and also had his accounting practice. Epameinondas has taught previously at Durham University Business School, Oxford Brookes University Business School at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Dr Sideeq Mohammed

Sideeq joined Kent Business School in 2017 after completing his PhD in Business and Management at the University of Manchester.

He is currently the Associate Dean of Education and Undergraduate Student Experience and has strategic responsibility for ensuring the success and quality of all of the undergraduate degrees currently offered by Kent Business School.
